Here’s something new for everyone, a small suite of fly tying “furniture”. These units come in matching pairs, one flat tool caddy, and one thread/wire/tinsel spool rack. These ‘suites’ are made from the same block wood and match up pretty dang close to each other. The spool racks measure 3 ½” – 4 ½” square. Some are mounted on swivels and others sit on either a cork or foam pad to keep them from skating off your tying bench. The racks have capacity for six to nine spools and double that if you stack two high.
The tool caddies are loaded with holes, magnets and ‘pin cushions’ to accommodate a host of tying tools as well as head cement, varnish, hair-stacker, Sally Hansen’s nail polish or whatever. And, flat tool caddys that have 1” or larger diameter holes for large items include a push rod (that is also a dubbing brush or a bodkin) at no extra charge. Let me know what you think of them, they are priced to sell – and to be enjoyed.
